The civil parish of Porto da Cruz hosts an annual event, which takes place during the first weekend of September, that is the Grape and Farmer’s Festival. The aim of this festival is to honor madeiran vintners and also to promote the delicious Madeiran grapes. This event attracts thousands of locals and tourists.
