Miradouro do Pico do Facho (Viewing Point)
North of Machico, just before the tunnel leading to Ponta de São Lourenço, there is a pathway following all the way to the mountain top, to Pico do Facho. The place offers a panoramic view over the Machico valley, including the peaks on the heart of the Island, and Ponta de São Lourenço.

How to get there? Take the Estrada Regional 101 (regional road), in the direction of Boaventura – Ponta Delgada. On your right you will see a road, by the water treatment plant. Follow it all the way to the end. There you will find São Cristóvão viewing point.

How to get there? On Estrada Regional 101 (regional road), before Ponta Delgada, in the direction of Boaventura- S. Vicente.
Miradouro Boca das Voltas (Viewing Point)
How to get there? Follow the regional road towards Boaventura – Santana, all the way to Ribeira Funda. Go up the unpaved road all the way to the antenna. From the viewing point you will enjoy a beautiful view.
