São Vicente’s main church is situated in the centre of the village. This church was built in the XVII century and is delicated to Saint Vicent. It has three naves and a magnificent ceiling paintings, in where you can see Saint Vicent blessing the town.
Nearby the maritime coast of Boaventura, there are three well-kown islets – Porco Islet, Red Islet and Black Islet.
“Boca das Torrinhas” separates Boaventura mountain range from Curral das Freiras mountain range. Nearby “Boca das Torrinhas”, you can see many plants, belonging to Escrofulariaceas family.
