This beach is situated in the centre of Ribeira Brava municipality and has nice sunbathing and swimming facilities. It has many bars and restaurants nearby. Among the many facilities, you can find two areas for football and volleyball matches, a restaurant, a bar, canoes and also a lofeguard service.
Vigário beach is a beautiful pebbled beach located in Câmara de Lobos Municipality. This beach offer visitors plenty of sunbathing area, clear crystal waters, great facilities and lifeguard surveillance.
St. Peter festival is held every 29th June, in the town of Câmara de Lobos and is in honour of all fisherman.
The “Brinquinho” is the an instrument used to compass the rhythm of Madeira folklore. It is also the most important and well-know instrument in “Bailinho”. “Bailinho” is the traditional folklore dance of Madeira Island. The Brinquinho is made with articulated dolls which are dressed up with the typical Madeiran costume.
