The Sports and Cultural Association of Faial parish was created with the intend to develop events and sporting and cultural activities in Faial parish.

His actions have been very remarkable.

One of his big activities, known in all island, was the Song Festival of Faial which was open to all people in the island. It was one of the most important moments of this association which this project lasted 20 years.
