In Fajã do Lugar de Baixo, between the municipalities of Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol, there is Zino’s Palace.
This Palace was built in the end of the XIX century, for Zino’s family summer vacations.

This Palace is also known as “Palacete do Lugar de Baixo”.

Over the years, it was the place for Agrarian Technical School and later on, as primary school.
In 1976, the palace was abandoned.

In 2002, Zino’s Palace has been recoverd by the Regional Government of Madeira to host several social events.
