The Vereda das Funduras start in the Portela viewpoint where is possible, in this one, observe a fabulous view above the Porto da Cruz and Faial parish which are more known as rock mass of Penha d´Águia.

This course continues in the forest of mountain of the Funduras where, after, initiates the truly vereda inside the Laurissilva forest. In the course you will find the Funduras House that gives support to the forests activities. In this local you have the possibility to have an amazing view above the Machico bay in the Larano viewpoint.  

This course ends in the Maroços center where you can cross by the traditional terraced terraces. This one’s characterize the typical agricultural view in Madeira Island.
