The Santo António da Serra is one of the great places to produce this traditional drink. This drink is known to thirst quencher being poor in alcohol (4% to 5% content of alcohol) but very delicious.

This drink it`s sold, in this island, in a bulk or glass.

The sidra is the result of the juice fermentation of the different forms of pressing the peros ( acid, bitter and sweet).

It can be drunk with sugar. This depends with the taste of each person.
