The Ribeiro Frio Route is a route that begins in Ribeiro Frio, at São Roque do Faial parish, an ends at Portela being a ten miles walk.

This walk is considered easy and accessible to everyone where eight miles it`s done in a flat area and the other two are down to Portela viewpoint.

During the route is possible to see lots of typical plants of the island as the Orquídea da Serra, as Estreleiras and among other.

It`s one of the marvelous routes to do at Madeira Island.
