Queimadas Park is an amazing park situated on the western coast of Santana civil parish. This park leads to many levadas, namely Caldeirão Verde, Caldeirão do Inferno and Rancho Madeirense and to the well-know Laurissilva Forest.

The Laurissilva Forest has a wide range of endemic plants and trees.
