Arco de São Jorge parish has a very own dessert known as Pumpkin Pudding.

This relic in Madeira gastronomy is, increasingly, present in the restaurants of the island because people want to preserve this delight.

Ingredients:
2 cups (tea) of cooked pumpkin
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups (tea) of milk
1/2 cups (tea) of sugar
3 eggs
2 tablespoon of corn starch
50grs of shredded coconut

Join all the ingredients and mix well until it gets an orange color.

Put into the cake tin greased with butter and cover it with aluminum foil and take it to the oven in a bain-marie.

This pudding just can be unmold when cold.
