Poncha is a typical drink of Madeira Island, and can be consumed cold or warm. This drink  is made of sugar cane rum, sugar cane honey and fresh lemon juice.

This drink is very common in bars in the parish of Câmara de Lobos. However, they can be found all over Madeira and Porto Santo Islands.

Ingredients:
2 lemons juice
1/4 white cane brandy
3 tablespoons honey

Way to prepare:
In a recipient, put the honey with the lemon juice. Mix all with the stick of the poncho. At last put the brandy and mix all again.
