The Museum of Wine and Winemaking is situated in Arco de São Jorge in the Viticulture Field Experiment.
This space has the objective to be interactive and with lots of activities here was been incorporated an old cellar with three mills and a space to taste some of the regional products. The products that have more adherences are the famous Bolo de Mel and some of the traditional scones of Madeira Island.
In this place it still has the traditional utensils used to produce the wine in Arco de São Jorge parish.
This place shoes all the process of the vineyard as the pruning.
Outside this space, exits gardens with lots of trees of Laurissilva that gives a relaxant moment to the visitant.
It also has a candies shop and with traditional objects here can acquire homemade bread, cakes and scones with honey, pieces of wicker and among other.
