Madeira’s mild climate, warm temperatures and its calm blue waters allows the practice of one of the most sought sports on Madeira Island, that is, Fishing.

The most sought fish is the Blue Marine, which weights around 700lbs.This fish lives in warm waters and can be capture from May to October.

However, there are also other fish which can be seen on Madeira Island, namely the White Marlin, the Blue Fin Tuna, the Big Eye Tuna, the Swordfish, the Blue Shark and the Barracuda.
