Built between 1489 and 1496, with walls and floors decorated by 17th century azulejo tiles, and fine wooden ceilings in the Hispano-Arabic style, this church also has a collection of recently restored paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Here too is the gothic grave of Martim Mendes de Vasconcelos, son in law of captain João Gonçalves Zarco.
