Church of Our Lady of Mount
This 18th century church replaced a small 15th century chapel. It is the burial place of the Austro-Hungarian emperor Karl, who was sent to Madeira Island on exile in 1931.
Besides, this church contains beautiful pieces of sculpted and gilt woodwork from the 17th and 18th centuries.
