One of the most famous fish dishes in Madeira Island is the Tuna Steak.
First of all, marine the tuna steaks for 2 hours in a mixture of 1 dl olive oil, garlic, vinegar, salt, pepper, parsley and a pinch of oregano. Then, in a large skillet heat the rest of the oil and remove the steaks from the marinade and sauté them in olive oil.
This specialty is usually accompanied with fried corn.
