The former House of Christopher Columbus is now a beautiful museum – Columbus Museum. This museum recreates the environment in which the navigator lived for a time.

This museum is one of Porto Santo’s main cultural attraction.

Visitors can see a vast collection of navigational instruments, maps and many tools from the time he was has been in Porto Santo Island.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1p.m.
